Life moves faster

2007 has been the fastest year in my life.

I am reminded of the theory (by Alvin Toffler, if my memory is correct) that every coming year will be faster than the previous year, because one year as a fraction of an individual's total existence will keep reducing as the years go by*.

For eg: 1 year for a 10 year old is a tenth of his life. 1 year for a 30 year old is a thirtieth of his life. since 1/30 is smaller than 1/10, an year passes by faster for a 30 year old person.

PS:

-*The caveat is that a person should be engaging in some kind of mental / physical activity. Else, time stands still.

-2007 has been a pretty gratifying one as well.
