Fate and Freewill

What we tend to think as a well-planned career turns out to be a function of someone else's decision to quit or stay. Randomness is everywhere. We don't seem to observe it unless it has a blackswanish impact.

One may want to call it fate. Doesn't matter what name, one can never seem to plan everything to the letter. We can only limit it to how we respond. Fate is then, I guess, what happens; free will, I believe, is how we respond. And if responses tend to be good, then what happens tends to less of fate.
