Man and Infinite Emotions

Man is capable of infinite emotions. Many of them are contextual. Yet, it always nags me - which emotion is at the top of the heap.

=A mother's love for her child? Many times, this is a benchmark for emotions. Yet, I think. If she doesn't love her child, who else will she?
=A father's love? This is again great. But mind you, many times, father is proud of his child - the child proves his masculinity and it takes forward his blood.
=A brother's / sister's affection for a sibling? Amongst the top. Blood. Blood is an amazing enabler of love.
=A man's or woman's love for his/her lover. It is great that one can love a once-stranger so much. This amazes me. We all know, it is not without issues - gets messy now and then.

The emotions that family - out of blood and acquired - is capable of generating in an individual are so divine that it feels that a life is worth living for a few such emotions.

Still, it nags me - which is at the top of the heap.

PS:
-What has always moved me is - a stranger walking up to someone, extend a helping hand and then walk away never to look back to take credit.
-Women - rather the female of every species - do not associate pride with having children. Historically, they never had to compete to spread their genes. And they do not fundamentally have performance issues.
-Anthropology says - maternity is certainty; paternity isn't.
