Organization and Fear

People are at their best when they are not constrained by fear. But, fear is what is induced at every step since childhood to amend thinking and behavior to be in line with expectations of the majority - parents talk about ghosts and the God; Schools employ (at least used to) various threats, including physical punishments (as had happened in my case); society uses comparisons, and so on.

But the biggest of them all is - (business) Organization.  Is Organization feared because it gives salaries? There are many who no longer need these salaries for their livelihood. Yet, they seem to fear it.

It appears - Organization in many ways represents all that is there in the world to fear. Maybe, that without Organization there will be nothing to do resulting in boredom is the reason.

I am not sure.

*both my flat and office have power back-up with 10 second downtime. Don't know if I should feel good or bad.

Quick question - what power backup option you use at home? this is one question haunting me most while I am in US and planning for return! :D

My apartment has DG set with 2-3 KV support per flat. If one has independent house or no such support by the apartment, then there are Inverters - these days they support even ACs. So, if power cuts are keeping you from returning, feel free to pack up and come home. Btw, there are other problems in India that may have no such easy solutions.

Thanks for dropping by and comments.

Good Luck!

Hi Vijay,

The option for comment in 'On Police' post is also not visible. Anyways, it's great to see you back blogging after a long break at your end.

On policing - there is a brilliant article on Trichy Police

http://indiagovernance.gov.in/prac/trichy%20.pdf

where in one person (S.P. Mr Tripathy) literally changed the way people behaved and lead their lives.
It's nice to read the case from the book - Making Breakthrough Innovations Happen by Porus Munshi.

Have a nice day ahead.
