The purpose of a god's life lies in the purpose of the concept's creation.Both religion and god as concepts have let us down, and it is vital that they be revisited to endorse unities, and reduce division, isolation and violence.As we gain better insights of spaces within and beyond, we should outgrow the ubiquitous yet indefensible god concept.However, for believers, it would be imperative to create acceptance of a wider god, a god that transcends religion.When you ask the purpose of a god's life, I believe the immediate purpose would be to free himself of religion-an unfettered god would serve much better to sustain an inclusive, constructive and tolerant society.

Sir i dont knw what is the purpose of GOd's life but i knw the altimate purpose of human life that is "to be happy"
becoz think for a while and notice anybody who is doing anything is doing "to make himself happy" and this thing can be positive or negative depending upon the person.

Without god's will nothing will happen in this world ,if you beleive god. So, don't bother about God's life. You have to bother about youself. If you want to do good for people, you do. No need to think about others what they are doing and go ahead to your way.

BTW, just finished India After Gandhi by Ramchandra Guha. Also got to meet him at one of the lecture in Mumbai!!! He is damn good orator and is quite witty in his spontaneous remarks. "The history has become more unpredictable than the future" - He remarked on the controvery of Shivaji and Dadoji Kondev!

I am not sure if I had read the reference to his book on your blog. Was an interesting read. Thanks.
